Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy! Welcome to my little bit of blogland! Today's post is a blog hop, its a new and exciting one it is to commemorate the " Run for the Roses " Kentucky Derby. So what do all ladies love to wear at the races? HATS!!!!  So with this in mind I created a hat and I hope that you like it.

Here's how i did it!
I took an A4 piece of card and drew 2 circles on it in different sizes, I also cut a length of card and attatched the whole lot together with masking tape! Next I sprayed the base with |Dylusions gold shimmer spray and left it to dry.
Around the middle of the hat you will see that i have added some pretty gold and white lace and on the top of the hat a selection of flowers from my stash. At the front of the hat i have created a Veil from spiderweb style material with a few little pearls to Embellish it.  I have added flowers at intervals around the front of the hat  stickles for  an extra bit of bling!

I next created the topper by decoupaging a little ballerina girl and layering her onto some gingham cardstock and dotty paper. Accross the centre of the card I have popped a little of the dotty paper. I have also inked around the edges of all the cardstock and paper. The little sentiment is from the Sugar Buttons kit also and to finish I have embellished with some self adhesive pearls and a double tied pink organza bow.

A little bit of Zen

Hi everyone just sneaking a quick post in before tonight's pamper party!
I have created a card using the gorgeous Zen Fairy image from Faery Ink.
Here is my card and I hope that you like it!

Here's how I did it!
I took a 6x6 textured card blank and covered it with paper from Desert Bloom paper. Then I matt and layered some dull silver card and more paper from the Desert Bloom, this paper is glittered so is especially pretty! The topper is the gorgeous Zen Faery image from Faery ink and I have coloured her with a selection of my Copics.
The flowers are created by punching out pink vellum and the topper card and gently squeezing them together, a little stickles has been added. To embellish i have added self adhesive pearls pink organza ribbon and bow and a little sentiment.

GDT post for Barnemix

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland. I have neglected my poor wee blog somewhat recently and not crafted much due to health issues and numerous hospital appointments but hopefully things will settle down again soon and I can get back to doing what I love. CRAFTING!
Anyways enough of my rambling and down to business.
I was extremely pleased to be asked by the lovely Anne-Lise Johannessen to be a Guest designer for Barnemix ( see links below). I was given the FAB Little Miss Inocence- NOT digi image by Ikes Art to use for my make and I hope that you like what I have created.

Here's how i did it
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with paper from Desert Bloom by First Edition that I have inked around the edges using Soft Suede ink from Stampin Up. I matted and Layered the topper that I created by using more paper from Desert Bloom and the image I was given, I coloured the image with a selection of Copic Ciao pens.
The sentiment is a stamp from my stash and to finish I created the flowers by punching the flower shapes from the same paper I used on the card and added a little button in the centre of them. To embellish a little I added buttons and a bow I created from 3mmm dotty ribbon.
